As Director of Indigo Estates, I’m very proud and excited to be writing to you in my first blog on our new look website. I should start by saying thank you for visiting the site. If you’ve made it this far, this hopefully means you’re interested in our services! I look forward to helping you on whatever stage of your property journey you happen to be on, along with our committed team here at Indigo.
We plan to have lots of interesting articles on this blog page to share with you, and I thought I’d open the page by putting a face to the name, and telling you a little about myself, and Indigo – where it’s come from and where it is now.
Indigo is very much a family-run business, which was started in 2009 by my brother Marcus. My mother Jackie was also with the company for twelve years, until she decided to retire this year. Jackie, who now has somewhat of an ambassadorial role, is still happy to lend a helping hand and continues to fly the Indigo flag. My sister Rachel has carried out the books for Indigo for some time and is now a director of the company.
As for me, I have been buying and selling property for 27 years, and have been in construction for 34 years, starting my apprenticeship at the tender age of fifteen.
I’ve developed a number of properties over the years, so I’ve been fortunate enough to accumulate a good knowledge of the property industry. I’ve always had a keen eye for creating and developing businesses, having built an electrical company that now has a staff of 28, and an AV supply company with six staff. When the opportunity to take the reins at Indigo came along, I jumped at the chance. The team is brilliant, not least our Sales Manager Lisa Ajmal, who leads the team. I’ve really enjoyed working with, getting to know and adding to the team, and have great confidence that I’m surrounded by some wonderful people who have a vast experience and understanding of the local housing market, but more importantly, a genuine passion for achieving the best results for our clients, whether they are buyers, sellers, tenants or landlords.
I’ve joined a company already accomplishing great things, with an established reputation and exceptional track record, but as they say, change is good. One of our mottos is “New Look. Same Solid Foundations”. We will continue to strive to listen to our client’s needs, provide a personal, tailored service, and to go above and beyond for you. Your home is the most important space in the world, so I, along with my team, are dedicated to making sure you make the absolute most of yours.
